SMC289X Reset to Factory Default Setting

1. Reboot AP
2. Then input ESC key
3. [Boot]: c

'.' = clear field; '-' = go to previous field; ^D = quit

file name : /fl/zz-img.bin /fl/aaa-img.bin <-- change it to other names

4. [Boot]:@ (Reboot)
5. when seeing the following message, open the IE and type the IP address 192.168.1.20

Warning: no netmask specified.

Attaching to TFFS... Attaching to TFFS... done.

Wait for reset , 4..3..2..1..0

Loading /fl/aaa-img.bin...

Boot web up ...

6. Using FTP or TFTP to uplod the firmware again (Firmware file name is smc-img.bin)
7. Then input ESC
8. [Boot]: c

10. It is the best to set the outdoor bridge to factory default system
command: reset configuration
